Managing Director
Pete and Karen founded Select Interiors in 1995 from their single garage at home. When Pete is not working he is planning his next project. He enjoys spending time with his family (not work related), mountain biking and classic cars.
Karen Biss
Managing Director
The real boss. With the intention of being part time, 30 years on and still working more hours than anyone. Enjoys walking Timba, Renovating properties and the occasion arts and crafts.

Growing up in the industry, Shane was sweeping the floors for his pocket Money, 30 years later he should still be sweeping the floor but instead, he’s helping running the business. Obsessed with sport and fitness, you will find him at his local boxing club and gym.

With a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in digital animation, Steve spends his free time mountain biking, paddle boarding and creating digital illustrations.

Our part time receptionist, with 2 grown up children Lucie enjoys her time running with their cocker spaniel Wesley. She has completed The London Marathon and finds running gives her a good excuse to eat cake! She enjoys watching F1 with the family.

Meet Ian, our longest serving team member who’s been here over 25 years. Outside of work, you will find Ian either on the golf course, sat on a fishing lake or riding his motor bike.
Dale Abley
Fitter
The number 1 son, Dale grew up around the Biss household and now there is no getting rid of him. With a love for anything with an engine, you will find him racing motocross or super bikes, restoring his classic mini or behind the grill at any BBQ.

Luke is always on the go, whether its working weekends, renovating his own house or managing his small holding with his family.

Chris is our go to man, always eager to help out and give an opinion! He enjoys DIY, having recently completed his own house renovation. He runs a tight ship both at work and home and time out is spent with his wife and 2 children.

Outnumbered in the household with two amazing daughters and wonderful wife, leaves him to be an avid fan of DIY, always thinking of new project to do around the house. Enjoys going on new adventures whether it going to the beach or walks in the countryside.

You’ll find Lee at his happiest in the countryside walking his 2 cocker spaniels with his partner. He was originally in the factory being hands on but is now an office boy in his comfy chair!
Kristian Barnes "Barney"
Warehouse Manager
Kristian (aka Barney) has been with the company for 9 years working within the warehouse in various roles before taking over as Warehouse Manager. Married with a baby, he still manages to maintain a good social life and has recently taken up the sport of padel.

Jason enjoys family time with his wife, son and 2 collie dogs. A keen gamer who also enjoys pouring himself a pint at home from his own beer pump.

Married with 3 children, including twins and 3 dogs Mark is kept busy with family life. He’s up walking the dogs at 5:30 everyday before coming into work, he also likes to think of himself as a part time house husband.

One of our newest members of staff Jay recently purchased his first home and is in the throws of renovating it. Since buying his home he and his wife got a puppy which has been keeping them busy as she’s full of fun & mischief.
